Senior Director, Demand Generation
About the Role :
Conexiom is seeking an exceptional Senior Director of Demand Generation, reporting to the CMO, who will own sales pipeline creation from strategy to creation and execution.
We are looking for someone who is analytical, creative, and takes ownership of growth targets. Customer Acquisition : Lead efforts to acquire new B2B customers by developing and executing effective integrated marketing campaigns and lead generation strategies.
Drive top-of-funnel growth through digital inbound and account-based outbound marketing efforts across all channels including website, digital advertising, email, paid industry programs, webinars, events, social media, direct mail, and outbound BDRs.
- Customer Growth : Develop and implement customer engagement programs, in collaboration with customer success and sales, to improve adoption and retention, increase lifetime value through cross-sell / upsell, and grow advocacy.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with sales, product, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and follow-through in all demand generation activities no lead left behind.
- Team Leadership : Scale and lead a high-performing team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to individual team members.
Foster a collaborative and innovative culture.
Performance Analysis : Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, using insights to optimize future strategies for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
Forecast, measure, analyze, and report on the impact of demand activities on sales pipeline, revenue, sales cycle length, and CAC efficiency.
Innovation : Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, continuously seeking innovative ways to enhance our demand generation efforts and overall market positioning.
Identify and create an experimentation / testing approach for demand marketing program pilots.
- Budget Management : Develop and manage the budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to drive growth.
- Partnerships and Vendors : Identify strategic partnerships and distribution channels that can accelerate growth and expand our market reach.
Evaluate, select, and manage outside vendors that contribute to demand programs and hold them accountable for performance.
Qualifications :
- BA / BS, MBA preferred
- 10 years in a marketing demand generation role at a B2B software company
- Proven track record of owning and achieving a pipeline and revenue number
- Been there, done that experience in a high-growth land-and-expand business model, ideally in the $50-100M ARR range
- Five or more years of B2B digital / inbound marketing including web and content marketing, ability to leverage social media to seed demand, search engine optimization / search engine marketing (SEO / SEM), association marketing, and content syndication
- Extensive experience in developing and executing successful account-based demand generation strategies targeting enterprise and mid-market companies
- Collaborative team player who is excited to be part of a growing team
- Highly creative with a passion for telling stories through integrated programs
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, inspire, and lead a high-performing team
- Excellent analytical abilities to measure and optimize marketing programs for continuous improvement.
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation and CRM
The targeted salary range for this position falls between $150,000 to $200,000 CAD depending on experience and qualifications.
