Role Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Bilingual Complaint Specialist to join our client's team in Burlington. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with Canadian and U.S. regulations regarding complaint handling and adverse event reporting. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of customer complaints, from initial documentation to final closure, while maintaining professional relationships with clinicians and manufacturers. Please note that this position involves the handling of human tissue products and potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens during product processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately document and process customer complaints within the complaint management system.
- Communicate effectively with clinicians, office staff, and device manufacturers to gather necessary information.
- Handle incoming complaint product shipments, including opening and processing mail.
- Review complaints to determine if reporting to regulatory authorities or assessment by the Product Safety Officer is required.
- Coordinate complaint shipments to the Designated Complaint Handling Unit (DCHU).
- Analyze complaint reports and close files in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Draft professional correspondence to clinicians and regulatory bodies.
- Manage inquiries via the regulatory telephone queue and department email inbox.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.At least one (1) year of experience in dental, customer service, or complaint handling.At least one (1) year of experience with basic computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office.Bilingualism : Proficiency in both English and French is required.Preferred Qualifications
