Adecco is actively seeking a dedicated and results-driven Site Manager to oversee and drive the operational success of our client's site in Dawson Creek, BC.

This full-time role requires a passionate leader with experience in managing a retail site, ideally in a unionized environment.

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing sales, ensuring adherence to safety standards, developing staff, and delivering an exceptional customer experience, all while maintaining profitability and safeguarding company interests.

  • Pay Rate : $50k-$55k / year.
  • Location : Dawson Creek, BC
  • Shift : Monday-Friday Days with some weekends
  • Job type : Permanent Full-time Responsibilities :
  • Lead and identify gaps in site operations, ensuring profitability while delivering on customer commitments.
  • Motivate, coach, and inspire a team to deliver high performance, ensuring high morale and personal growth.
  • Inspire staff to provide superior service, maintaining operational standards and fulfilling customer promises.
  • Demonstrate passion for safety and lead the site's safety culture, ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Lead and manage a unionized team, navigating the complexities of collective agreements and ensuring harmonious labor relations.
  • Achieve or exceed sales and operational targets, including differentiated fuels volume, convenience retailing, and overall site performance.
  • Collaborate with the Territory Manager to set site-specific business plans and create action plans to close performance gaps.
  • Drive the recruitment process, select top talent, and actively participate in training and development initiatives to support employee growth. Requirements :
  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar managerial role within retail or operations.
  • Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop team members while fostering a culture of collaboration and respect.
  • Demonstrable success in achieving sales and profitability targets, managing operations, and improving business performance.
  • Ability to implement standard processes, achieve sales targets, and enhance customer satisfaction through effective management.
  • A genuine commitment to safety and compliance with a strong understanding of HSSE standards.
  • Experience managing a unionized workforce is an asset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
