Your Opportunity
Our BC Interior group is looking for a Resource Coordinator to join the Resource Management team and own the following responsibilities :
- Lead scheduling functions for the client including proactive workforce planning, resolving schedule conflicts and recommend staff sharing opportunities.
- Optimizing project engagements using available resources to improve utilization
- Understanding staff skillsets and preferences to best utilize staff through engagements that best suit the needs of the client and future growth opportunities.
- Administer the database through daily scheduling, conflict resolution and inputting ongoing changes. Builds strong relationships with Management teams through understanding key priorities and managing ongoing changes
- Builds & analyzes robust reporting through internal database and Microsoft Excel regarding chargeability and utilization
- Collaborate with the local and national teams, Identify and implement best practices in resourcing processes and reporting.
- Attend regular resourcing meetings with representatives from the business.
- Forecast and analyze data in relation to new hires, attrition, promotions, etc.
- Analyze and challenge resourcing requests against key engagement metrics to ensure the appropriate allocation of resources

Your experience and education
- 1-2 years of direct experience in scheduling, forecasting and / or workforce capacity planning.
- Some travel will be required within this role so access to a valid drivers license and vehicle are required
- You have experience with conflict resolution and negotiating skills to balance individual and business needs
- You demonstrate personal leadership, accountability, proactivity and responsiveness
- You have the ability to adapt to changing priorities within the business
- You have confident communication skills both written and verbal
- You are organized with good time management skills
- You have strong problem solving and analytical skills
- You are comfortable collaborating with business partners in remote locations
- You have a passion for optimizing employees' strengths and efficiency
- You thrive in a fast changing work environment
Pay Range : $49,000 - $75,000 / annum
