310T Fleet Truck Mechanic

Attention all Truck Mechanics or 310T Mechanics open to work in Mississauga!

We are looking to hire an ambitious and driven truck mechanic for a fast growing and essential service company. This is a dynamic, growth-oriented company providing essential waste and recycling services to keep communities clean and safe.

With a high commitment to safety and customer service, they are seeking an energetic and driven individual to join our team in the Peel Region to maintain + ensure trucks are kept in great shape!

Location : Mississauga, ON

Job Type : Full-time - Afternoon Shift

Pay : $41 per hour

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform repairs on equipment safely and according to company and manufacturer specifications.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and electrical systems on trucks
• Test + repair equipment to ensure proper performance.
• Maintain organized work orders and communicate repair status with managers.
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily operational needs.
• Keep the shop and equipment work area clean and organized.
• Adhere to safe work practices.

Qualifications

• 310T license OR equivalent truck mechanic experience
• Valid G license with clean driving record
• Own tools required.
• Experience + knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems is an asset.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 60 lbs, and perform physical tasks repeatedly.
• Effective communication skills and reliability as a team player.
