In this new postition and under the direction of the Controller, the Accounting Technician performs the following tasks : As an Accounting Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the financial aspects of the business runs smoothly.
You will be responsible for the billing process for specfic clinical trials, including coordination with project management, contract management, proposal management and control.
- You will be part of the team based in Laval. Responsabilities : As a Member of the Finance & Administration team, your main responsibilities will be : Process payroll by ensuring the accuracy of information and produce reports;
- Prepare and enter data into the accounting system; Perform reconciliations, validate allocations and track costs; Prepare and analyze various reports according to the needs of the company using Excel;
- Conduct research in order to respond to requests for information; Provide technical support to the Finance and Administration unit;
- Qualifications College diploma in accounting, finance or a related field or equivalent work experience; Payroll experience (CPA an asset);
- Minimum experience of 3 years in a similar role; Knowledge of accounting functions; Functional knowledge ofEmployer D (an asset), and accounting and management software (ACOMBA - an asset);
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel. Other Qualifications High level of adminstrative skills and great attention to detail;
- Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously as well as to prioritize and meet deadlines; Advanced skills in dealing and communicating;
- Rigor and dynamism with good analytical and synthesis skills; Professionalism, versatility, teamwork and autonomy; Bilingualism : written and oral in English and French;
