Human Resources Administrator

Millar Western Forest Products Ltd. is seeking a full time Human Resources Administrator to join our Whitecourt Pulp Division.
- Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this individual will be responsible for employee related administrative duties including assisting with payroll and benefits administration;
- maintenance of physical and electronic records, including staff certification tickets, re-certifications, and training courses;
assisting with the disability management program; communications, recruitment and onboarding; and assistance with company event planning.
The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, well organized, flexible and capable of working professionally with staff and visitors to the site.
Working within a team environment, the successful candidate will exhibit a willingness to pitch in where needed in pursuit of company goals and objectives.
Excellent communication and computer skills are required. 2+ years experience within Human Resources and / or Business Administration with a focus in human resources is required.
Experience with SAP would be an asset. A Human Resources Management Degree or Certificate is preferred.
