Description
The Salesforce Excellence Specialist will work collaboratively within the Commercial Operations team supporting Business Units to enable high performance at field level. This is a critical role working with all business units on Incentive Compensation planning (incl. target setting, payouts, monthly leaderboards, Incentive Design and Execution), Territory Design , SFE KPI design and tracking (e.g. calls / promo mix tracking), Analytics to support Salesforce optimization, Target Call Plans and field reporting / analysis / validation / training to ensure commercial effectiveness and executional excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Incentive Compensation plan – Target setting, payouts, monthly leaderboards, Incentive Design and Execution and approvals
- Territory design / maintenance and execution using tools such as Javelin Territory Designer, Veeva
- Call Plan (Implementation of segmentation) design and execution and setup in Veeva
- Field training and support for sales reports (Excel / Power BI) and data systems (Veeva / Oracle)
- SFE KPI design and tracking (e.g. calls / promo mix tracking)
- Analytics to support Sales force optimization as required
- Regular updates for reports related to TSA, XPO, GPM, Target Lists.
- Support data requirements for promotions where applicable and account analytics
- Support data requirements for Sales Managers – ad hoc / monthly
- Data validation of various monthly and ad hoc reports
- ROI analysis as required
- Field Roster Management
- Other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Business, Computer Science, ScienceMBA an assetStrong financial acumen required.3-5 years’ relevant experience in a similar role preferredExperience extracting data from relational databases (ie. Oracle, SAP, Cognos, SQL server, etc.)
Knowledge of external data sources : including IQVIA (XPO, TSA, GPM), AC NielsenComputer Skills : Intermediate / advanced level skills using Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Power BI. Specifically, Excel (Pivot Tables, advanced formulae)Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact effectively with internal staff and external customers and possess strong interpersonal communication skills.Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross functional teamsAnalytical Skills : Demonstrated ability to analyze data and solve problems independently; proven investigative, data interpretation / manipulation skillsAbility to work in a team environment, but also able to work independently with minimum supervisionAbove average organization, excellent follow up, and project management skillsWhat we offer in return
