Position Overview :

The Industrial Electrician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment throughout the manufacturing facility. This full-time, permanent position plays a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, safe operations, and continuous improvement in a highly automated industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery, control systems, and equipment

Troubleshoot electrical issues to minimize equipment downtime

Install, modify, and upgrade electrical systems as required

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems

Ensure compliance with all applicable Ontario electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards

Maintain accurate records of work performed

Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to support efficient plant operations

Education & Certification :

Valid Industrial Electrician License (442A preferred)

Experience :

Previous experience working in an automated industrial manufacturing environment

Experience with Siemens Step 7 PLC systems considered an asset

Skills :

Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, machinery, and safety protocols

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks

Compensation :

Hourly rate : $40.31 per hour
