Position Overview A successful marketing assistant will be a results-oriented self-starter who is meticulously detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects at once, and possess excellent time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

A quick and creative thinker with some direct marketing related experience with an eagerness to learn and be challenged.

Accountabilities Daily support for the marketing team and internal business units.Write meeting minutes and organize marketing files (may involve creation of planners / trackers)Shipping out samples and collateral to our branches and supporting the sales team.

Making marketing hand samples or coordinating the creation of themAssist with showroom managementPreparing monthly sales meeting slides for Marketing Team LeadCreating and auditing reports (budgets, campaigns etc.

Re-directing leads from our website, uploading content onto our CMS and making small changes to the site.Completing purchase requisitions in Salesforce and entering invoices.

Liaison between social media third party and digital marketing agency.Graphic design for small internal and external projects.

Coordination of photography and video projects.Sending out e-blasts to our customersEducation / CertificationDegree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Communications Design, or Business.

Equivalent education and experience will be considered.Google, Facebook, Udemy and HubSpot Certifications are considered an assetExperience0-2 years’ experience in a marketing role Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop etc.

or CanvaProficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office SuiteBasic photography and videography skills are an assetStrong organization skills and exemplary attention to detailDemonstrated ability to managed multiple tasks and set prioritiesWorking under tight deadlines with various stakeholdersStrong Work Ethic with a Can Do attitude.
