Brandt is currently seeking a Machine Monitoring Specialist for our Customer Support Center located in Regina, SK.

The successful candidate will be responsible for taking a proactive approach by utilizing the latest technologies and available equipment data to provide recommendations that allow our customers to optimize their fleets.

Our monitoring software allows multiple data sources to be analyzed and interpreted. This position is a key liaison with customers, partners and suppliers for Brandt monitoring center.

This position is a great opportunity for experienced technicians with an aptitude for technology, or individuals with a technology background and an aptitude for mechanical systems.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor alerts received from machines through various software platforms
  • Investigate and research machine activity and provide recommendation of action
  • Effectively communicate the appropriate actions to the Service Departments or customers via telephone, e-mail or ticketing system
  • Follow up on previous recommendation to ensure problem resolution and identify learning opportunities
  • Provide health fleet reports to convey value provided.
  • Communicate effectively to customers, Brandt service, sales and support staff.
  • Understand and support telematics and monitoring systems for our customers and Brandt.
  • Meet MMS KPI’s for the Machine Monitoring Center
  • Provide coverage during peak times for JDLink administrator
  • Be proficient in all technology platforms under the Brandt umbrella
  • Other duties may be assigned

Required Skills

  • Strong background in computer applications and analytics
  • Knowledge of the heavy equipment & dealership service departments
  • Ability to filter and correlate the different data source to create an accurate recommendation.
  • Knowledge of machine application, design, functionality and understanding the environmental effect on the equipment performance
  • Understand effective inspection process and equipment lifecycle planning
  • Bilingual is an asset but not required
  • Travel may be required

Required Experience
