PrecisionERP / IT is searching for a local Regina, SK based Sr. IT Project Manager for a 1 year HYBRID project to start. (1-2 days working onsite)
DUTIES :
- Has overall project performance responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, and deliverables which includes applying techniques for planning, monitoring, and reporting, change control, and risk and issue management.
- Works closely with the core project team members, which includes a representative from the business unit, IT, and OCM, to collaborate and ensure alignment in project goals and successful delivery of the project.
- Assigns clear roles and responsibilities and provides effective oversight of deliverables and tasks.
- Responsible to work with the business to articulate the project benefits and manage the project to ensure the benefits will be realized.
- Accountable for the management of external vendors in their delivery of solutions and services. Works with external organizations and agencies to define and manage the exchange of information as necessary for a project.
- Ensures projects deliver specified outcomes and meet quality expectations.
- Creates and manages the overall project budget.
- Regularly updates stakeholders with reports on the progress and performance of projects. Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Identify and mitigate project risk to avoid delays and cost overruns.
- Follow all WCB standard, practices, and processes related to projects and ensures compliance.
