Operations Manager

Our client is looking to add an Operations Manager to their team in Orangeville, Ontario.

Base pay range

$90,000.00 / yr - $120,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership : Manage daily plant and warehouse operations including fertilizer blending, bagging, and logistics, ensuring equipment functionality and operational reliability.
• Hands‑On Technical Oversight : Provide direct support for housekeeping, troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical systems and plant equipment to minimize downtime.
• Team Development : Coach and support staff to meet performance goals and foster a culture of accountability and growth.
• Inventory Management : Lead shrink reduction initiatives, reconciliation processes, and year‑end counts.
• Capital Projects : Support planning and execution of facility upgrades and equipment investments, including technical evaluations.
• Recruitment & HR : Drive seasonal and full‑time hiring, performance reviews, and personalized development plans.
• Health & Safety : Lead safety programs, inspections, and emergency response planning.
• Environmental Compliance : Ensure responsible facility operations and liaise with partners on sustainability initiatives.
