Take part in : project and client development in the Sept‑Îles region, working closely with our offices in Labrador City, Montréal, and Mont‑Saint‑Hilaire. Assist industrial clients in the energy and mining markets with operations, maintenance, and growth projects. Perform site surveys, testing, commissioning of equipment, and participate in various stages of project execution. Ensure quality professional services and maintain strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients in day‑to‑day operations : troubleshooting, root cause analysis, staff training, shutdown planning and asset management
- Perform site surveys
- Participate in equipment testing and commissioning
- Conduct short‑circuit, power flow, protection coordination, arc‑flash hazard studies and harmonic content analyses, as well as steady‑state and transient analyses in industrial power systems
- Design and read electrical drawings
- Draft technical documents, calculation notes, specifications and reports
- Attend internal or client coordination meetings
- Participate in project management (costs, schedules, labour, etc.)

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical EngineeringMember of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (or equivalent)Three or fewer years of relevant engineering experienceAvailability for short‑term assignments between Sept‑Îles and Labrador City, and across Québec and CanadaKnowledge of MS Office Suite and other database applicationsAdvanced level of English and French to collaborate effectively; ability to draft technical documents in both languagesAssets : Graduate from the Institut en génie de l’énergie électrique (IGEE); onsite experience (internship) with industrial networks; knowledge of ETAP, EasyPower, CYME or EMTP‑RV softwareBenefits
