PMO Manager

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES : In this role, you will lead the IT PMO and be accountable for portfolio-level delivery, governance, and execution outcomes. You will work closely with IT leadership and senior business stakeholders to ensure projects are prioritized effectively, delivered on time and on budget, and aligned to business objectives. This role carries real authority and is expected to drive decision-making, not just reporting. REQUIREMENTS : Must-have :

• 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise IT project and program delivery
• Proven experience building, leading, or maturing a PMO in a complex organization
• Demonstrated leadership of large-scale initiatives (ERP, WMS, CRM, or similar platforms)
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and lead across functions
• Willingness to work on-site and travel across Canada as required Nice-to-have :
• Agile Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)
• PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or PMI-ACP certification
• Experience operating in environments with evolving governance and delivery maturity
• Experience supporting programs in supply chain, logistics, warehousing, distribution, or retail environments, including familiarity with Tecsys (ERP, CRM and WMS) ABOUT THE ROLE : Location : Hybrid – Greater Toronto Area (approximately 80% on-site) Duration : 6-month contract with anticipated extension; potential conversion to full-time based on performance Start date : As soon as possible (flexible to secure the right consultant) Work hours : 40 hours per week Travel : Some travel across Canada is required PAY DISCLOSURE : The average hourly pay range for this field is as follows :
• Intermediate : 5-10 years of experience in area of expertise = $100 / hr
• Senior : 10+ years of experience in area of expertise = $100-120 / hrCompensation is commensurate with these standards; exceptions may apply based on experience, skills, travel requirements, and market conditions.
