Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of various structures, ensuring they are safe, sustainable, and comply with all relevant codes and regulations.

The Structural Engineer will collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and analyze structural systems for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects.
  • Perform load calculations and stress tests to ensure structural integrity and compliance with safety standards.
  • Use structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, ETABS) and CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) to develop detailed structural designs.
  • Review and interpret project drawings and specifications to ensure designs meet project requirements.
  • Collaborate with architects, construction managers, and other engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor construction and ensure adherence to design specifications and safety codes.
  • Prepare reports, drawings, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on changes in building codes, safety regulations, and material science developments.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Ensure that designs are cost-effective, sustainable, and environmentally friendly.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License or eligibility for licensure.
  • 5+ years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on specific area if needed, e.g., commercial buildings, bridges, etc. .
  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and other CAD tools.
  • Familiarity with national and international building codes (e.g., AISC, ACI, Eurocode).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for report writing and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with sustainable design and green building practices is a plus.
