In this role, your duties and responsibilities will include :

  • Lead and develop structural projects, from concept through to construction completion.
  • Design steel, concrete, masonry, and mass timber structures.
  • Liaise with other departments and sub-consultants in coordinating technical aspects of the work under the direction of a Senior Engineer.
  • Prepare the contract documents including structural engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Execute construction review of structures to ensure general conformance with the contract documents.
  • Lead meetings with clients and other consultants, effectively coordinating and communicating structural intent.
  • Work with teams in the preparation of estimates, schedules and budgets, where required and contribute to work planning and scheduling.
  • Assist in field inspection of existing structures and provide reports and recommendations on the findings.
  • Write site visit reports clearly and concisely for records.
