Carpenter

Our client is seeking a Carpenter to join their team in Abbotsford, BC. As a Carpenter, you’ll play a key role in general carpentry and production—turning drawings and specifications into accurate, safe, and ready-to-assemble work. Location: Abbotsford, BC
Pay Range: $22/hr start (plus shift premium)
Shift: Able to work morning, afternoon and evening shifts
Temp to Perm

What's the Job?

• Read blueprints and shop drawings to support accurate fabrication and production.
• Lay out, build templates, and create jigs to ensure repeatable, precise results.
• Safely and efficiently operate a variety of small and large power tools and hand tools.
• Use best-practice fabrication and framing methods within prescribed tolerances for rough and finish carpentry.
• Rig and load materials to site for erection/installation, maintain activity logs, and prepare product for shipping.

What's Needed?

• Adherence to health and safety regulations, including consistent use of protective gear.
• Understanding of production procedures and the ability to follow job instructions and specifications.
• Ability to read blueprints, work orders, or production schedules to determine required work.
• Strong attention to detail, with quality control/assurance and safety from start to finish.
• Teamwork and communication skills, plus physical stamina and strength to lift up to 50 lbs.
