Retail Representative

Our client Purolator a leading transportation and logistics company, is seeking a Retail Service Representative to join their team. As a Retail Service Representative, you will be part of the Retail Operations team supporting customers, drivers, warehouse staff, account managers, and corporate partners. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused approach that will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Retail Service Representative
Location: Victoria, BC (811 Vernon Ave & 9584 Hampden Road) – Car Required
Pay Range: $21.55 per hour (Top Rate: $28.89 per hour as per collective agreement)

What's the Job?

• Provide exceptional customer service to customers in person and over the phone.
• Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, shipment issues, and technology-related challenges.
• Process freight by loading, scanning, logging, and handling shipment resolutions.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, drivers, warehouse staff, and internal partners.
• Complete cash reconciliation, deposits, key control duties, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.

What's Needed?

• 3-12 months of customer service, retail, or POS system experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
• Excellent problem-solving and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for extended periods in a retail and warehouse environment.
• Proficiency in English and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
