Billing Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Billing Specialist to join our client's team in Brampton, ON. Salary: $50,000/year Shift: 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday Responsibilities: - Provide exceptional customer service to customers, advising customers of shipment status and obtaining information - Communicate with shippers/carriers to obtain shipment information, negotiate rates, and arrange pickup and delivery of orders - Update shipment events and enter billing information in system - Generate and retrieve invoices for accounting - Audit files and carrier invoices - Other duties as required Qualifications: - Previous experience in Group Freight operations (minimum 2 years) - Strong knowledge of Ground Freight billing requirements - Strong computer skills (MS Office - Word, Excel, etc) - Excellent Customer Service skills - Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) - High attention to detail - Strong ability to multi-task/strong organizational skills - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Able to work independently or as a team in a fast-paced environment Apply now!
