Dispatcher

Full-Time | Fast-Paced Environment | On-Call Every Second Week

We are seeking an experienced Dispatcher to join our team in a fast-paced transportation and heavy equipment environment.

The ideal candidate is organized, quick-thinking, and confident communicating with customers, operators, and internal teams. Crane, boom truck, or heavy equipment experience is a strong asset.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch equipment and operators based on customer needs.
• Coordinate daily workloads, equipment availability, and operator schedules.
• Communicate job details, site requirements, timelines, and changes to operators and customers.
• Prepare quotes and job estimates.
• Coordinate permits, pilot cars, subcontractors, and accommodations when required.
• Monitor operator hours, logs, inspections, and regulatory compliance.
• Track equipment and employee locations and availability throughout the day.
• Coordinate with maintenance and other departments.
• Review job paperwork, hours, rates, and billing information for accuracy.
• Provide professional customer service and resolve issues as they arise.
• Support company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous dispatch, logistics, transportation, or heavy equipment experience.
• Crane/boom truck experience is a major asset.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent organization and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable making decisions in a very fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety requirements is an asset.
• Available for on-call coverage every second week.
