Material Handler

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Material Handler for a direct hire opportunity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in the Oro-Medonte and Barrie area. This role is ideal for a dependable forklift operator with strong warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, and production support experience.

As a Material Handler, you will help keep manufacturing operations running efficiently by moving materials, loading and unloading trailers, supporting production lines, and maintaining accurate inventory locations using RF scanner and ERP systems. Key Responsibilities

- Operate a forklift to load and unload trailers, move products, stock storage bins and racks, and deliver materials to production areas.
- Pick, stage, move, consolidate, sort, stack, palletize, and shrink wrap materials as required to support manufacturing flow.
- Use RF scanner and ERP systems to verify inventory availability, update locations, complete counts, and track material movement.
- Respond quickly to production line changeovers and changing priorities to help reduce downtime.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following Health and Safety regulations and ISO 9001 program requirements.
- Support continuous improvement by applying Lean practices and identifying opportunities to improve material handling processes.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $23.75 per hour.
- Afternoon shift premium: $0.50 per hour.
- Night shift premium: $1.00 per hour.
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Available shifts:
- Day shift: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Afternoon shift: 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
- Night shift: 12:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.
- Multiple locations in the Barrie area.
