OUR CLIENT IS HIRING AN AZ SHUNT DRIVER
JOB : AZ SHUNT DRIVER
PAY : $25 / HR + (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE)
TYPE : FULL TIME
LOCATION : GUELPH

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
- VALID AZ DRIVERS LICENSE WITH A CLEAN RECORD
- PREVIOUS SHUNT EXPERIENCE A MUST
- MUST HAVE LICENSE AND EXPERIENCE TO DRIVE MANUAL TRANSMISSION
- FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE AN ASSET (ESPECIALLY DIESEL), BUT TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED
- ABILITY OF LIFT AND MOVE HEAVY OBJECTS IN THE YARD
- ABILITY TO WORK OUTSIDE IN ALL CANADIAN WEATHER CONDITIONS
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- SHUNT TRAILERS BETWEEN VARIOUS LOCATIONS WITHIN THE YARD OR BETWEEN DIFFERENT SITES.
- SAFELY MANEUVER TRAILERS IN TIGHT SPACES AND AROUND OBSTACLES.
- ASSIST WITH LOADING AND UNLOADING TRAILERS USING A FORKLIFT WHEN NECESSARY.
- MAINTAIN CLEANLINESS AND ORGANIZATION OF THE YARD BY REMOVING DEBRIS AND ORGANIZING INVENTORY.
- COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY WITH DISPATCH AND OTHER DRIVERS TO COORDINATE TRAILER MOVEMENTS.
