Warehouse Associate

Position Description Summary Reporting to the Operations Supervisor the successful candidate will be responsible for the shipping and receiving within the warehouse. Principal Accountabilities
- Processing customer orders including picking, packing and inspecting shipments
- Daily communication with transportation companies and customer
- Repetitive lifting of heavy items
- Removing and reloading server racks from creates
- Health and Safety compliance in accordance with company policies.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all shipments and receipts
- Daily warehouse housekeeping
- Participating in inventory control and cycle counting
- Liaising with other departments to address delivery and receipt inquires
- Becoming an effective team member by participating in process improvement initiatives
- Performing other general administrative / warehouse duties and tasks as assigned
- Daily local traveling to Client site
Knowledge and Skills
- Completion of high school
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Minimum two years warehouse experience
- Trained and certified forklift, with a proven safe track record
- Must be able to continuously lift heavy items
- Excellent accuracy and organization skills complimented by the ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Work effectively as a team player
- Excellent knowledge of overall warehousing process
