PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND BACKGROUND :

Our client is seeking a Business Analyst with experience on Human Resources Management System (HRMS) implementation projects with the option to be assigned to other technology projects as operational demands stipulate.

The HR Digital Transformation Project purpose is to select and implement a new HRMS solution and supporting processes for the enterprise.

This project will also implement HRMS business functions that are currently inefficient or not available, causing substantial manual effort.

Based on the inputs from the preceding Feasibility Study, the implementation project will plan and execute a

comprehensive procurement competitive process (RFP) to select a new HRMS solution. The project will develop and execute a full strategy and detailed plan to implement the new HRMS solution to replace the PeopleSoft system currently used across the enterprise.

SERVICES :

The successful candidate will provide business analysis services. Duties will include all aspects functional and solution analysis, including but not limited to the following :

1. Facilitate discussions with subject matter experts to understand, analyze, and prepare detailed current and future state process documentation, including identifying business, data, and integration / interface requirements.

2. Translate requirements into solution requirements.

3. Collaborate with the project team, technical stakeholders, and business stakeholders to assess current solutions employed across the enterprise and the operating companies.

4. Prepare fit-gap analyses.

5. Identify processes that can be unified and / or improved.

6. Work with the project team to prepare a recommendation of solutions that can be leveraged to address the business needs.

7. Review and validate analysis deliverables with business and technical stakeholders and obtain signoff.

8. Facilitate workshops, brainstorming sessions, and meetings.

9. Prepare status updates and presentation materials as required.

10. Contribute to the project plan, as required, and

Deliverables

1. Current State Analysis, including detailed business process workflows and supporting documentation.

2. Requirements Traceability Matrix.

3. Future State Analysis and supporting documentation.

4. Detailed Fit-Gap Analysis.

5. Study Recommendation Report.

6. RFP preparation and support.

7. Configuration plan support.

8. Test execution planning and support.

9. Deployment plan support.

10. Change management planning and support.

Knowledge & Experience

The ideal candidate would have done business analysis on various complex ERP or HRMS

implementation projects for multiple organizations within the same enterprise, involving multiple

system modules, and many stakeholders at different levels of the organization.

Bachelor’s degree and formal training on business analysis and / or process improvement techniques.

10+ years of senior level business analysis and process improvement experience.

Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) is a plus but not a mandatory requirement.

Data Analysis : Ability to analyze data to inform decisions about the implementation. This includes understanding how to use data analysis tools and techniques.

Knowledge of project management processes and supporting governance controls.

Training and experience in best practice business analysis techniques and processes.

Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills.

Ability to gather, analyze, and consolidate information from a variety of sources (i.e., documents,

interviews, brainstorming sessions etc.);

Proven record of accomplishment of working with business stakeholders to identify, assess, document, and recommend solutions that meet requirements.

Ability to work with technical analysts / advisors and translate business requirements into detailed system specifications.

Extensive experience implementing technology projects and business process initiatives designed to improve efficiency.

Extensive experience gathering and analyzing functional and technical requirements and information from key business areas.

Experience with conducting technical feasibility studies, identifying technical dependencies, and

application road mapping.

Knowledge and experience with the standard MS Office tools including Microsoft Visio (must be

proficient).

Experience with SharePoint.
