Headquartered in Stoney Creek, the plants have design, mold, paint, assembly and testing capabilities. Tiercon manages 5 sites across 2 cities employing approximately 550 people throughout Canada. Tiercon is seeking knowledgeable, self-directed, experienced and hardworking individuals interested in the automotive industry as a Process Technician / Production Supervisor - Midnight Shift at our Oshawa Facility. Position Summary : We are seeking an experienced Process Technician / Production Supervisor to provide hands-on technical support and daily leadership within our injection moulding operations. The successful candidate will help ensure production processes meet safety, quality, efficiency, and throughput expectations while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise day-to-day production operations and provide direction to employees.Develop and maintain process setup sheets for new and existing products.Support mould transfers from engineering into production.Set up and optimize injection moulding machines, moulds, and automotive-grade materials.Fine-tune process settings to achieve optimal cycle times while meeting customer quality requirements.Review manufacturing methods and implement improvements related to machine setup, material handling, automation, and the work environment.Assist with the development, implementation, and training of process requirements for operators, material handlers, and setup personnel.Perform routine preventive maintenance on production equipment.Document process changes, setups, and other quality system requirements.Prepare production reports, shipping documentation, and other required reports.Enforce company policies and procedures related to health and safety, quality, environmental compliance, and human resourcesmunicate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams regarding day-to-day production or quality matters.Promote continuous improvement throughout the department.QualificationsGrade 12 diploma or equivalent.Minimum three years of experience working with injection moulding machines and process setups.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Experience within an automotive manufacturing environment.Knowledge of ISO 9001 : 2015, IATF 16949 : 2016, and ISO 14001 : 2015 requirements.Previous experience supervising or leading employees.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Strong computer skills, including data entry and report preparation. Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality ResponsibilitiesThe Process Technician / Supervisor is responsible for promoting a safe workplace and ensuring employees follow required procedures, protective measures, and PPE requirements. The position must identify and communicate workplace hazards, take reasonable precautions to protect employees, and support emergency evacuation and spill-response procedures.The successful candidate will also be expected to follow and promote the company's Health and Safety, Environmental Management, and IATF 16949 Quality Systems.
