Security Guard – Healthcare Security | Retention Allowance

Securicare is seeking Security Guard to support our healthcare security operations in Powell River within the Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) portfolio. This role is based across multiple healthcare site. In this position, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. You will be responsible for access control, proactive patrols, incident response, and working closely with healthcare teams in a fast-paced clinical setting. The ideal candidate brings strong situational awareness, professionalism, and the ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations.Pay Rate: $24.5/hrLocation: Qathet General Hospital, Powell River.Retention Bonus $1000We value our team and want to reward commitment! Eligible employees can receive the following bonuses:After successfully completing the 90-day probationary period eligible employees will receive a $500 signing bonus, plus an additional $500 after 6 months of continuous employment.Bonuses are paid to employees who are actively employed at the time of payout.
