Senior Cisco Secure Access / Secure DNS Consultant
Location-Brampton, ON Hybrid (2 3 Days WFO)
Duration-6 12 Months
Rate: CAD 50 - 55/hr
Key Responsibilities:
Review customer architecture, security, and operational requirements
Validate solution design and deployment approaches
Configure Cisco Secure Access / Cisco Umbrella, Secure DNS policies, and security profiles
Implement and manage DNS security configurations and policy enforcement rules
Lead endpoint onboarding and security policy rollout activities
Troubleshoot security, policy, connectivity, and DNS-related issues
Support functional validation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Provide operational readiness guidance and knowledge transfer
Support post-deployment stabilization and hypercare activities
Develop and maintain implementation, configuration, and operational documentation
Essential Skills:
5+ years of network security implementation experience
Hands-on experience with Cisco Secure Access / Cisco Umbrella
Strong experience with Secure DNS and DNS Security
Experience with Secure Service Edge (SSE) and Zero Trust Security
Strong understanding of DNS protocols and architecture
Strong enterprise networking knowledge
Experience with TCP/IP, DHCP, VPNs, and Proxies
Strong understanding of security policy design and enforcement
Experience supporting enterprise deployments and production rollouts
Excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills
Preferred Certifications:
Cisco Certified Specialist Security
CCNP Security
Cisco Umbrella / Secure Access certifications
