We are seeking Administration and Human Resources Students for PCL Energy Inc. to work as Craft Recruitment Students in our Nisku, AB Office. We are looking for students that are available for 8 months starting in January 2027. The positions will be under the direct supervisor of a Workforce Manager.
As an Administrative Student, you will contribute to our team by:
• Fielding telephone calls, filing, and data entry, typing of various correspondence and formatting of documents
• Performing a variety of Internet research functions
• Preparing word documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
• Calendar management and support for managers
• Assisting with meeting preparation (i.e. coordination of information, preparing tabs, distribution of material, room setup, and beverage/food setup)
• Assisting with overflow work from other administrative staff
• Handling incoming/outgoing mail – relief in mailroom as required
• Maintaining office supply inventory and orders as appropriate
• Additional support and duties, as required
What you will bring to the role:
• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary diploma or degree program
• Application of various computer software programs will be required, including Microsoft Suite.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Able to work with limited supervision in a team environment
