YOUR MISSION AT INFASCO
The analyst plays a key role in financial planning, performance analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making. They are responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting financial data, as well as developing robust financial models.
Working closely with operational and financial teams, they actively contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes while leveraging Business Intelligence (BI) tools to generate relevant insights for management.
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Budget and Financial Planning
- Participate in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts (short and long term);
- Collaborate closely with operational teams to gather reliable data aligned with organizational objectives;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial planning processes.
Financial Analysis
- Analyze financial statements to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement;
- Produce and explain variance analyses (actual vs. budget/forecasts);
- Participate in the creation of dashboards for various management levels;
- Support finance business partners in analyzing financial performance.
Reporting
- Prepare and present clear and relevant periodic financial reports;
- Develop dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the company's financial health;
- Ensure the quality, reliability, and consistency of financial data.
BI Tools and Data Management
- Use BI tools to extract, analyze, and visualize data;
- Participate in the automation and optimization of financial reporting;
- Contribute to the analytical transformation of the finance function.
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field;
- 5 to 10 years of experience in FP&A and financial analysis;
- CPA designation (an asset);
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (an asset);
- In-depth knowledge of the Office suite, BI tools, and ERP systems;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English (bilingualism is necessary for regular exchanges with our parent company
- in the United States);
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail;
- Ability to influence and simplify financial concepts;
- Autonomy, organizational skills, and strong planning abilities;
- Team spirit and excellent interpersonal skills;
- Initiative, proactivity, and results-oriented.
