What will you be doing? Contribute to all project phases and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards, defined scope, timelines and budgetDesign and specification of all Mechanical Building Services systems - heating, cooling, ventilation, and controls.
Prepare engineering drawings and specificationsReview Clients SpecificationsWrite technical reports and analysis to support design submissionsReview shop drawings for compliance & participate in development of engineering standardsObtain proposals from and follow-up with suppliers and contractorsPartner with cross functional project team membersVisit and survey project sites for project related activitiesLoad calculations including heat load calculations using HAP’s What you bring?
A Degree in mechanical engineering with a minimum of 10 years' experience designing commercial, low / high rise buildings, and multi-family residential buildingsP.
Eng. Designation with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) in good standing (required)Strong communication skills required to provide effective inter-discipline, high value engineering, client, vendor, and sub-contract coordination on projects.
