Express Employment Professionals, Delta, is hiring for an Administrative Assistant / Junior Project Coordinator. The Administrative Coordinator will support the daily operations of the construction company by managing administrative tasks, facilitating communication, and ensuring project documentation is organized and accessible.

This role will be working onsite in our client's office, reporting to the Office Manager / Accountant and the owner.

Key Responsibilities :

Office Management :

Maintain an organized office environment.

Manage office supplies and equipment procurement.

Coordinate maintenance of office facilities.

Project Coordination :

Assist in project scheduling and tracking.

Prepare and distribute project documentation (e.g., contracts, plans).

Monitor project timelines and report updates to management.

Communication :

May eventually serve as a point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders.

Facilitate communication between project managers, subcontractors, and clients.

Organize and document meetings, including taking minutes and action items.

Compliance and Documentation :

Ensure all project documentation complies with company policies and regulations.

Assist with permit applications and regulatory compliance.

Organize and maintain electronic and physical files.

Additional Responsibilities :

Perform other administrative duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications :

Minimum of two years in administrative support or coordination, preferably a work administrative coordinating with any employer for two years or more, and in construction, industrial or related industry.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. General fluency in MS Word, and Outlook.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with construction terminology and project management software is a plus.

Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field could be an asset but not a requirement.

Benefits :

Wage will be $24-27 / hour depending on experience
