Job Description:
Develop and socialize end-to-end technology solutions for GFT Fraud Technology initiatives in collaboration with business and technology leaders
Ensure solution architecture aligns with enterprise architecture principles, technology standards, security requirements, and industry best practices
Provide technical leadership across large, complex initiatives and guide teams through architecture and design decisions
Influence decision-making and facilitate collaboration among stakeholders at all organizational levels
Provide technical mentorship and contribute to architecture standards, knowledge sharing, and the broader architecture community
Rationalize competing technical and business interests and facilitate consensus on complex and contentious architecture decisions
Establish and maintain strong partnerships with Global Architecture, Application Development, Technology and Operations, business groups, and Global Technology Infrastructure teams
Manage multiple priorities, aggressive timelines, dependencies, and delivery risks while proactively removing technical obstacles
Design and implement domain APIs and cloud-based solutions using platforms such as Azure, AWS, and OpenShift
Apply advanced digital channel, payment, and digital application architecture patterns to develop scalable and secure solutions
Design solutions using integration patterns, component-based architecture, microservices, REST/SOAP APIs, cloud-native applications, and event-driven architecture
Define integration and messaging architectures supporting batch, synchronous, and asynchronous communication patterns
Design front-end architectures using Angular, React, and Single Page Application technologies
Define data integration, security integration, infrastructure, and end-to-end system architecture solutions
Implement secure web application patterns including OAuth, SSO, authentication, authorization, and API security
Architect solutions using Kafka, WebSphere MQ, RabbitMQ, RDBMS, NoSQL, Hadoop, data pipelines, orchestration, and choreography patterns
Collaborate with development and engineering teams to ensure architecture designs are effectively translated into scalable production solutions
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend appropriate technology platforms based on business, technical, security, and scalability requirements
Must-Have Qualifications:
12+ years of total IT experience with at least 4 years of experience as an Application or Solution Architect on large and complex projects
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
Strong experience developing and implementing domain APIs and cloud technologies including Azure, AWS, and OpenShift
Advanced knowledge of digital channel, payment, and digital application architecture patterns
Strong knowledge of integration patterns, component-based design, data integration, security integration, and infrastructure architecture
Strong experience with Angular, React, Single Page Applications, APIs, and modern application architectures
Advanced knowledge of microservices, REST/SOAP, cloud-native applications, event-driven architecture, orchestration, and choreography
Strong understanding of batch, synchronous, asynchronous, and enterprise messaging technologies
Advanced knowledge of web application security patterns including OAuth and SSO
Experience with Kafka, WebSphere MQ, RabbitMQ, RDBMS, NoSQL, Hadoop, and data pipeline technologies
Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
Financial services and banking domain experience
Hands-on development experience with Java, Python, C++, or C#
Hands-on experience with microservices, cloud platforms, front-end technologies, and API development
Knowledge of legacy mainframe technologies
