Job description
Kelly® is looking for Assembly Technicians with previous experience in either medical device manufacturing, to work at a premier manufacturing facility in Markham. Let us help you grow at work and discover the next step in your career while being a vital part of your community.

Pay Rate: $19.00/hr
Shift Timing: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30pm
Overtime (mandatory) 3:30pm-5pm.

What’s a typical day as a Production Associate? You will:
  • Assemble small, high-precision medical devices following detailed work instructions
  • Perform fine hand soldering under a microscope to solder wires
  • Bond or glue small components with precision
  • Inspect, test, and meet strict quality and performance standards
  • Prepare finished devices for shipment
  • Gather, organize, and/or package individual components for production staging (kitting)
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Post-secondary education preferably in Biotechnology, health or related field
  • Students or recent graduates interested in medical device manufacturing are encouraged to apply
  • At least one year of hands-on experience in medical device assembly, electronics, jewelry assembly, or similar precision work highly preferred
  • High preference for candidates demonstrating proficiency in hand soldering, including experience using microscopes for detailed tasks
  • Comfortable working with very small components
