Job description

The Opportunity

As a Junior Unity Developer, you will participate in the development and maintenance of our live mobile games and assist in the creation of new mobile titles. Working closely with experienced developers who will guide and mentor you, you’ll help implement new features that evolve our games and take them to new heights — growing our player base and bringing our fans back for more. Scaling our games into the top of the charts, you’ll help ensure our features are stable, scalable, and performant to keep players around the globe engaged!

A Junior Unity Developer’s Impact

  • Deliver small, well-defined programming tasks with guidance and direction from your lead, growing your scope as you develop

  • Build features and systems based on designs and input from team

  • Debug your own code, design for testability, and document how to test your features

  • Work with other teams and departments throughout the development process, from ideation to release and live operations support

  • Break down tasks into clear plans with dependencies and time estimates

  • Follow team best practices and coding standards, and apply solid data structures, algorithms, and resource management techniques

  • Coordinate work with peers, offer constructive opinions, and share project status through clear communication

  • Learn continuously from the engineering team and own your professional development plan

Your Track Record Includes

  • 1+ years commercial experience with Unity and C#

  • Demonstrated knowledge of good programming practices and computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms)

  • Eagerness to learn, take feedback, and grow alongside a collaborative team

  • Computer Science/Software Engineering degree or equivalent experience

  • Backend development experience is a plus
