Job description
Hello! I’m Leila, Senior Recruitment Consultant at Fed Supply, a recruitment agency specializing in supply chain, logistics, transportation, and customer service. We offer temporary and permanent employment opportunities throughout the Greater Montreal Area. Our team of supply chain and logistics experts speaks your language and understands your industry. I am currently recruiting on behalf of one of my clients, a manufacturing company located near Terrebonne and Charlemagne. We are looking for a Production Planning Supervisor who will oversee a team and all planning activities across multiple sites. Mission Set priorities and ensure an effective distribution of the workload; Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand, capacity, and material availability; Coordinate planning activities across multiple manufacturing sites in Canada and the United States; Balance workloads and priorities across the different facilities; Oversee the release and monitoring of production orders; Quickly identify risks that could affect production or deliveries; Implement action plans and ensure that issues are escalated appropriately; Collaborate with the production, customer service, sales, purchasing, and logistics teams; Participate in the S&OP process and analyze fluctuations in demand; Monitor key performance indicators, including OTD, schedule adherence, material shortages, planning accuracy, inventory levels, and productivity; Present results and recommendations to management; Structure and standardize departmental processes; Contribute to the implementation and optimization of a new manufacturing ERP system; Participate in continuous improvement and operational transformation projects. Your profile At least five years of experience in production planning; At least two years of experience in supervision or team management; Experience in a multi-site, multi-product manufacturing environment; Strong knowledge of MRP principles, capacity planning, and inventory management; Experience with a manufacturing ERP system; knowledge of Epicor is considered an asset; Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and formulas; Bachelor’s degree in operations management, industrial engineering, business administration, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered; Fluency in both French and English is essential, as the successful candidate will communicate daily with teams located in the United States.
