Job Details This job profile description is a standardized non-contractual reference description and global reference tool provided for organizational consistency and talent architecture purposes across Cencora. It does not alter actual job duties responsibilities reporting lines working conditions grading compensation or other essential terms and conditions of duties and responsibilities may vary based on business needs local requirements and operational practices. Where a team members role is governed by an employment agreement local terms and conditions prior job description or collective bargaining agreement those documents shall prevail in case of any inconsistency. Mandatory local laws shall also specialty pharmacy workflows across prescription intake benefit verification claims follow-up prior authorization support and fulfillment activities using established required documentation and daily handoffs for prior authorization clinical review and related operational requests within defined claims orders refill activity shipment details and inventory information to identify routine discrepancies and complete approved corrective backorders substitutions replenishment updates and product availability issues to support continuity of pharmacy workflow activity issue resolution steps and required records accurately to maintain traceability and compliance with privacy safety and audit workflow status missing information and routine operational issues to pharmacists technicians payers service teams and other approved standard process guidance with peers and newer team members and supports updates to checklists templates or workflow notes after review and approval.High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.2 years of experience in pharmacy support healthcare operations claims processing medication access fulfillment support or a related operational environment in pharmacy technician practice or equivalent preferred.What Cencora offersWe provide compensation benefits and resources that enable a highly inclusive culture and support our team members ability to live with purpose every addition to traditional offerings like medical dental and vision care we also provide a comprehensive suite of benefits that focus on the physical emotional financial and social aspects of wellness.
