Job Description

Colchester East Hants Health Centre is seeking a full-time Urologist, preferably with Canadian certification.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a team of Urologists serving Truro and extending to include the entire Northern Zone of Nova Scotia Health.
• Provide a full range of specialized surgical, ambulatory and emergency care to provide comprehensive urologic care
• Provide care and coordination of community-based care, and secondary and tertiary level health care.
• Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities.

Expected Hours

• Permanent Full-Time
• On-call coverage for Truro and the Northern Zone as part of a 1 in 4 call rota.

Colchester East Hants Health Centre opened its doors to patients in 2012. Located in Truro, it serves as the main acute care facility for the residents of Colchester and East Hants Counties, serving a population of approximately 75,000.
