This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to a hybrid work schedule. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

Meet Your Future Team

Under the Circularity umbrella, the ReBIRD team supports the operations of our warranty and repairs program, our service centers within retail, and resale. The global ReBIRD program focuses on an exceptional Guest experience at all Commercial touchpoints, inclusive of Guest Services, After Sales, Branded activations, and especially within our owned Vertical channels, Retail and eCommerce. The ReBIRD Global Capabilities organization powers the operational frameworks, digital tools, and analytics behind our care & repair service programs.

Department: Commercial - ReBIRD

Reports to: VP, ReBIRD

Location: North Vancouver, B.C.

Director, ReBIRD Global Transformation & Capabilities Role

As the Director, ReBIRD Global Transformation & Capabilities, you are the executive visionary and strategic leader shaping Arc’teryx’s 3‑5 year global circular service ecosystem. You own the holistic engine that powers ReBIRD globally - unifying Service Capabilities and Operations, Product Ownership in Enterprise Technology, Data Analytics and Insights, together with cross‑functional Care & Repair Operations, into a seamless, end to end strategic function.

You lead a multi‑disciplinary organization responsible for defining global standards, accelerating tech‑enabled circular services, and leveraging data to drive commercial viability across owned vertical channels, wholesale and experiences. You will partner directly with executive leadership across Supply Chain, Technology, Commercial, Finance and Brand to ensure circularity becomes a major growth driver and competitive differentiator for Arc’teryx, globally.

Core activities

  • Authoring and driving the execution of the 3-5 year global ReBIRD strategic roadmap, aligning circular service and business models with Arc’teryx’s overarching growth and sustainability ambitions
  • Establishing multi-year financial and economic models, capability governance structures, and ROI benchmarks for circular investments
  • Overseeing the creation of scalable and repeatable frameworks for ReBIRD Service Centers and in‑store guest activations
  • Bridging the global strategy and regional delivery, ensuring local adaptability across all regions, while maintaining brand and operational consistency
  • Establishing global audit pathways, quality metrics, and proficiency benchmarks to ensure operational excellence across all touchpoints
  • Directing the digital product team responsible for building, scaling, and maintaining ReBIRD enterprise technology service stack, ensuring partnership and alignment across Supply Chain and Commercial teams
  • Partnering with Technology senior executives, identifying a clear ReBIRD vision and business prioritization and sequencing roadmap to deliver leading ReBIRD service for our Guests and Front‑Line teams
  • Leading the Data & Insights function to deliver analysis, forecasting, reporting, and impact metrics, across repair, service, experiences, trade‑in and resale
  • Delivering executive dashboards that translate complex operational metrics into actionable business intelligence, with a holistic view of ReBIRD across functions and departments

Future work opportunities

  • Partnering to support Circular Business Model strategy and best practices for Global vertical channels
  • Partnering to deliver operational efficiency recommendations for reverse logistics and within back‑of‑house repair operations

Qualifications

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, or a related field
  • You have 10-12+ years of progressive operational and strategic leadership experience in global vertical retail, technical apparel, consumer tech, or high‑touch service environments
  • You have 7+ years of direct people management experience, with a proven track record of leading multi‑disciplinary teams (ops, tech, data), building organizational strategy and developing others
  • You have demonstrated experience in authoring 3-5 year corporate or departmental roadmaps and securing executive alignment
  • You have knowledge of technical apparel construction, reverse logistics, circular business models and retail technology systems
  • You have expert capability in commercial financial modeling, unit economics and data‑drive decision making frameworks
  • You are passionate for sustainability and circular practices
  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
  • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
  • You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
  • You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
  • You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
  • Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it

Compensation

The compensation range for this role is CAD$149,000 - CAD$195,000.
