  • Employee Relations – Provide guidance to managers and employees on workplace concerns, performance, conflict resolution, investigations, and employment matters.

  • Employee Engagement & Culture – Support employee engagement, recognition programs, internal communications, and culture-building initiatives.
  • HR Reporting & Analytics – Track HR metrics, prepare reports, and provide recommendations to support business decisions.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • Experience as an HR Manager, Senior HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of BC employment standards and Canadian employment practices.
  • Experience with recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, payroll support, and HR operations.
  • Comfortable advising senior leaders and managing confidential employee matters.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with HRIS, payroll systems, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
  • Experience developing or mentoring junior HR team members is an asset.
  • Experience in franchising, construction, home services, or multi-location organizations is an asset.
  • HR-related degree, diploma, or certificate preferred.
  • CPHR designation (or working toward one) is an asset.

  • Improve HR systems, policies, reporting, and documentation.
  • Help support Ideal Siding's continued growth while creating a positive employee experience.
