In this role you will provide technical engineering support in Core Projects throughout the planning design cost estimating risk assessment schedule development and pre-sanction stages of the project lifecycle primarily for the Gas and Liquids Pipeline business units.

What You Will Do:

  • Ensureappropriate stakeholdermanagement; preliminary determination of regulatoryrequirements; completionof front-end engineering and designs cost estimates and project execution strategies are developed.

  • Develop realistic andreliable project schedules and cost estimates for projects while appropriately defining risks uncertainties and likelihoodfor those schedules and cost estimates.

  • Developchartersfor Rough Order of Magnitude to Class 3 scopesupported byestimates and schedules to meetthe needs of various critical information specific to each project to be used by executive management to make decisions.

  • Provide regular formal and informal project management reporting to Senior Management and stakeholders on assigned projects.

Who You are:

  • Engineering degree. Electrical Engineering degree preferred.

  • Registered or eligible to register as an Engineer-In-Training in Alberta with APEGA.

  • 2-4 years of related experience in oil and gas engineering operations projectmanagementand/or project development. Experience with industrial electrical systems or construction is experience is an asset.

  • Effective interpersonal skills to facilitate communication between all team members.

  • Project Management skills to prepare projects to move from development to sanction/execution.

  • The ability to work independently and self-prioritize and handle changing priorities and work tasks.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment.

  • Up to 10% travel to Enbridge offices operating facilities construction sites and supplier facilities.

  • Valid passport to travel and work between Canada and US.
