Board Director About the Company Globally recognized youth mentorship program Industry Non-Profit Organization Management Type Non Profit Founded 1964 Employees 11-50 Specialties - financial literacy - entrepreneurship - work readiness - in-school programs - and company program About the Role The Company is seeking dedicated individuals to join its Board of Directors and various committees, including the Audit & Finance Committee and the Human Resources & Governance Committee. The ideal candidates for the Board of Directors will have a strong background in senior leadership and governance, with a focus on community influence, relationship-building, and a passion for youth success and community impact. For the Audit & Finance Committee, expertise in finance, accounting, audit, risk management, banking, or investment is essential, with a CPA designation considered an asset. The Human Resources & Governance Committee requires members with experience in HR leadership, governance, board development, and talent and succession planning. Specific skills in K-12 school division leadership and legal areas such as corporate, governance, employment, or nonprofit law are also valued. Members of the Board of Directors at the company are expected to be actively engaged, attending quarterly meetings, and may also serve on or lead one of the committees. The role involves volunteering with the organization, attending signature events, and supporting fundraising and community engagement efforts.
