Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Lead Electrical Designer in the energy sector in a hybrid work environment in Edmonton, Alberta.
Our client is seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Designer to provide technical leadership and design oversight on multidisciplinary industrial projects. This role combines hands-on electrical design expertise with team leadership, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and constructible electrical design solutions. You'll collaborate closely with engineers, designers, project teams, and stakeholders while mentoring junior team members and driving project success from concept through execution.
Total rewards:$75.00 - $95.00 hourly
Lead and mentor a team of skilled Electrical Designers and TechnologistsCollaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and project delivery teamsContribute to complex brownfield and greenfield project developments
Lead the development and delivery of electrical layouts, cable routing, grounding, lighting, and installation design packagesCoordinate and oversee daily activities of Electrical Designers to meet project schedules and deliverablesReview and approve design drawings for quality, constructability, and compliance with applicable standardsCoordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams throughout project executionFacilitate interdisciplinary design reviews and support 3D model coordination activitiesMentor junior designers and promote continuous improvement of design practices and standards
