This role is pivotal in shaping the future of education technology on a global scale, with a focus on building a world-class product organization that caters to various markets, cultures, and educational systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the international product strategy, leading and developing international product teams, influencing the product roadmap, driving localization excellence, managing strategic partnerships, and fostering a global product mindset within the organization. Candidates for the Vice President of International Product role at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in building educational products globally, with at least 8 years in an operational leadership role that includes P&L ownership. A strong background in EdTech, particularly in product localization practices, is essential. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in driving organizational change, excellent presentation and communication skills, and the ability to travel globally. Preferred experience includes a background in the higher education space, engagement with big tech companies, and bilingual or multilingual capabilities. The ideal candidate will also have experience working with C-suite and board-level stakeholders, be AI-fluent, and have a strong understanding of how to evaluate and implement AI systems in an educational context.
