The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic academic leadership, ensuring the development and implementation of the University's academic programs align with its mission. This role involves overseeing academic policies, procedures, and strategic planning, as well as fostering a culture of academic excellence, innovation, and accountability. The Provost will also be instrumental in the growth and resource stewardship of the institution, contributing to enrollment strategy, and supporting the evolution of academic spaces. The ideal candidate will have a doctoral degree, a strong background in research and teaching, and a proven track record in academic leadership. They should be committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and have experience in managing change and promoting a culture of innovation. Key qualifications include a deep understanding of university governance, experience in managing academic resources and budgets, and a history of building and maintaining effective partnerships. The role requires an individual with exceptional communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to make transparent, informed decisions that align with the institution's values.
