The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic, financial, and operational leadership to advance the Foundation's mission. This includes overseeing a significant annual operating budget and leading the expansion and diversification of philanthropic revenue. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in event-based and major-gift fundraising, as well as a deep understanding of how sport can drive philanthropic investment. Key responsibilities for the Vice President, Foundation include championing a culture of philanthropy, leading the execution of the Foundation's strategic roadmap, and aligning various stakeholders around clear priorities. The role also involves designing and implementing a modern, diversified fundraising strategy, strengthening donor relationships, and ensuring that the Foundation's impact is effectively communicated. Candidates for this position should have a post-secondary degree in a relevant field, with professional education or certification in fundraising or philanthropy being an asset. A minimum of 10 years' leadership experience in philanthropy, fundraising, or a related sector is required, with a preference for those who have worked at a national or multi-regional level.
