Job description

Overview

As a Business Analyst – Supply Chain E2E Planning, you’ll play a pivotal role in our digital transformation journey by leading the implementation of an integrated business planning platform tailored to the Apparel and Footwear industry. Acting as the key liaison between business and technology teams, you will drive requirements gathering, solution design, and seamless execution of end‑to‑end planning capabilities from demand planning to supply and inventory optimization.

This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

Team

The E2E Planning and ERP & Business Applications team is composed of product managers, functional specialists, and technical experts focused on delivering scalable solutions across demand planning, supply chain optimization, and inventory management. We closely collaborate with Supply Chain and Data & Analytics teams to ensure our solutions align with business objectives and are fully supported by the systems that drive decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead workshops with global stakeholders to capture business requirements across o9 Platform planning modules including Merchandise Financial Planning, Allocation & Replenishment, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Long Range Planning, and Sales & Operations Planning.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories aligned with platform data models and configuration logic.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure accurate configuration, data integration, and workflow setup.
  • Support master data mapping and validation (location, channel, planning hierarchies).
  • Support end‑to‑end testing cycles, including UAT planning, defect management, and signoffs.
  • Create comprehensive process documentation, functional specs, and user training materials tailored for global teams.
  • Support change management by preparing training materials and facilitating user adoption across teams.
  • Support cutover and go‑live activities and provide hyper‑care post‑deployment.

Future Responsibilities

  • Partner with Planning, Merchandising, and IT teams to roll out additional modules or enhancements (e.g., Assortment Planning).
  • Support data governance and master data improvement initiatives to drive higher planning accuracy.
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning workflows, improving planner experience and reducing manual work.
  • Work on global planning transformation initiatives aligned with sustainability and DTC growth strategies.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant in Supply Chain Planning implementations, with hands‑on experience in the o9 Supply Chain Platform.
  • Strong domain knowledge in Apparel & Footwear planning processes – merchandise finance planning, demand forecasting, supply planning, and allocation & inventory optimization.
  • Experience in or with complex planning environments that require multi‑level planning and seasonal lifecycles.
  • Expertise in writing user stories, BRDs, process flows, and test scripts, and managing these using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Detail oriented and able to manage multiple stakeholders across functions and time zones.
  • Ability to simplify complex planning concepts for non‑technical users and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders.
  • Thrives in a fast‑paced, ever‑evolving environment and comfortable managing ambiguity.
  • Understanding of data dependencies and ability to work with data teams to define integration needs from ERPs (e.g., SAP) into planning platforms.
  • Hands‑on experience with the o9 platform or strong familiarity with its data model and planning architecture.
  • Strong understanding of E2E Integrated Business Planning (IBP) including Merchandise Financial Planning, Demand Planning, and related functions.
  • Experience with the entire lifecycle of a supply chain planning solution implementation.
  • Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with integration concepts using ETL tools or APIs for planning data flow.
  • Knowledge of process modeling using Business Process Model and Notation or similar standards.
  • Experience facilitating cross‑functional collaboration across global teams with cultural sensitivity.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is CAD $82,000 – CAD $108,000.

Benefits

  • Health & Wellbeing – extended health, dental, and vision coverage, including mental health support, fertility benefits, gender‑affirming care and a 24/7 Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
  • Financial Wellbeing – RRSP matching and eligibility for Arc’teryx Annual Incentive Plan and access to Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP) where applicable.
  • Time & Flexibility – paid time off, wellness time, and a No Wasted Day program (dedicated paid days to get outside & explore).
  • Family Support – parental leave top‑up and a nesting period for new parents.
  • Growth, Community & Gear – professional development opportunities, Arc’teryx Academies (outdoor skill‑building events), Employee Belonging Councils, and access to employee discounts and Pro Deals (exclusive discounted pricing on gear).

Equal Opportunity

Arc’teryx is committed to actively creating and fostering a culture of inclusivity where voices are heard, people are seen, and values are respected. All applicants, employees, and guests can expect equality of opportunity and fair treatment in alignment with our values.
