Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Manager, Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and execution of marketing initiatives that support player acquisition, retention and revenue growth across multiple casinos. This role assists in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of promotions, events, loyalty programs, and marketing campaigns while ensuring all initiatives are delivered on time and in accordance with regulatory requirements and Great Canadian Entertainment’s standards and objectives. The Marketing Coordinator collaborates with internal departments, external vendors and site teams to deliver exceptional guest experience and support the successful execution of the marketing plan.
Key Accountabilities:
Marketing Program Coordination & Administration:
Coordinate the planning and administration of marketing initiatives, including preparing promotional procedures, terms and conditions, and marketing calendars
Program offers and promotions within marketing system
Coordinate promotional items, maintain inventory records and ensure marketing initiatives are delivered accurately and on schedule.
Marketing Communication and Creative Coordination:
Coordinate the development, production, and deployment of marketing communications across all channels, including website content, email campaigns, direct mail, social media, on-property signage, and other marketing channels.
Liaise with graphic designers, print vendors and site teams to ensure creative assets are produced, delivered and installed on time.
Stakeholder Partnership & Operational Support:
Build and maintain effective relationships with site operations, internal departments, and external vendors.
Communicate marketing plan, provide operational guidance and support, coordinate marketing requests and ensure stakeholders are informed and prepared for upcoming initiatives.
Event & Promotional Execution:
Coordinate and support the execution of marketing events, tournaments, promotions, and other on-property activations.
Travel between properties as required to ensure successful implementation and operational excellence.
Guest Experience & Service Support:
Monitor guest feedback channels and respond to inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely, professional, and guest-focused manner.
Escalate issues when appropriate and identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience.
Compliance, Continuous Improvement & General Administrative Support:
Maintain accurate marketing records and documentation.
Ensure marketing initiatives comply with applicable regulatory requirements, company policies, and internal controls.
Identify opportunities to improve marketing processes and efficiencies and provide general administrative support to ensure the effective operation of the Marketing department.
Education and Qualifications:
Completed post-secondary education in Marketing or Digital Marketing.
Minimum two (2) years’ experience is preferred, ideally in gaming, hospitality or entertainment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work on their own, or as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
Proven interpersonal and influencing skills.
