Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Set Up Technician for a full-time, direct hire opportunity in a fast-paced food and beverage production manufacturing environment in Aurora, Ontario. This role is ideal for an injection molding professional who is confident setting up machines, performing mold changes, troubleshooting process issues, and supporting efficient production on rotating continental shifts.

The successful candidate will play a key role in keeping equipment running efficiently, reducing downtime, supporting quality standards, and contributing to continuous improvement on the production floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, start, and adjust injection molding machines for scheduled production runs.
- Complete mold changes, insert changes, and related tooling setup activities.
- Troubleshoot molding defects such as flash, long gates, warping, witness marks, cloudiness, and other quality concerns.
- Identify and communicate machine, tooling, or mold issues to maintenance teams and shift supervisors.
- Maintain, handle, and store molds, tooling, and related equipment properly and safely.
- Support shift communication, training, audits, investigations, safety procedures, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $35.00 to $37.00 per hour.
- Employment type: Full-time, permanent direct hire.
- Shift: 12-hour rotating continental shifts.

- Discretionary quarterly bonus eligibility after 3 months, based on performance KPIs and profitability.
