Title of the position : LNG Highway Trailer Engineer (NOC 21301).
Job duties :
Design, develop, and commission Cryopeak LNG Trailers and systems along with creating processes to monitor and control these systems.
Ensure that Cryopeak LNG Trailers and systems are designed to operate effectively, efficiently, and safely.
Design and develop new Cryopeak LNG Trailers, equipment, and systems.
Manage mechanical, electrical, and control and instrumentation design and documentation.
Lead engineering responses in the permitting phase of projects.
Ensure systems and designs comply with applicable laws, regulations, and codes.
Detail specifications for procurement and scope of work for contractors.
Conduct various procurement functions when required.
Create operations manuals and provide input into commissioning and test plans.
Ensure systems are efficiently and safely commissioned on customer sites.
Provide customer support and troubleshooting when LNG equipment and systems are in operation.
Work closely and collaboratively with other team members in Cryopeak to ensure that our companys objectives are met.
Interact with design engineers, operations engineers, purchasers and other internal staff.
Carry out project management within cost and time constrained environments.

Wage : $57.69 per hour ($120,000 per year, 40 hours per week).

Skills requirements :
Required education :
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Engineer in Training (EIT).
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or in a related engineering discipline.
Required work experience :
Minimum of 5 years of work experience in designing cryogenic trailers and other cryogenic projects.
Understanding of applicable Canadian codes, regulations, and standards associated with cryogenic trailer design.
Ability to travel to project sites if required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to learn within a new industry.
Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with a knack for proactive problem-solving and a passion for driving project success from planning to execution.
Must treat safety and quality as the highest priority in the workplace.
Experience in an EPCM environment is an asset.
CAD and drafting experience is an asset.
